Shoot In Minnesota is a non-profit film industry trade association organized for the purpose of improving the state of the film industry in Minnesota. We will advocate for legislation that will grant incentives to producers of films, commercials and television that choose to shoot in Minnesota using Minnesotan crew, talent and services.

Major film, television, and commercial production is done in states that have enacted aggressive incentives. These incentives include tax rebates, employment tax credits, sales tax abatement, free use of state property and more. Film producers spend hundreds of millions of dollars in these states, creating jobs, new business, and tourism.

The economic and social benefits of film production extend far beyond the production community.
